Garden Club

The Sun City Summerlin Garden Club is a warm, welcoming group for gardening enthusiasts living in our 55+ community in Las Vegas. With a focus on both education and camaraderie, we host a rich calendar of events and activities. More

• Monthly meetings (January–October), featuring guest horticultural experts, Garden Club business, social time and refreshments—guests can attend (a $5 speaker tip is optional)  We meet on the Last Thursday of every month at Desert Vista at 3:30 pm in room 5.
• Hands-on gardening workshops including plant repotting, desert-adapted planting, and other seasonal demonstrations.
• Field trips and garden tours, ranging from local farms and visits to garden-themed related venues. Additionally, we host a Spring and Fall Garden tour of select member homes.
• Membership Dues are $20; new members are always welcome, and guests may visit a couple of times before formally joining 

You’ll find us inviting fresh-picked seasonal produce at our mini farmers market, learning about water-wise desert landscaping, and cultivating friendships . Whether you're an experienced green thumb or just getting started, the club offers a friendly, supportive environment to grow your interest—and your garden.
